What size is the challah?
Challahs are available in five sizes: 4 oz. rolls, 5 oz. rolls, small (half a pound), medium (one pound), and large (one and a half pounds). The small is a perfect size when a roll is too small, but you don't quite need the medium size. Gluten free oat flour challah rolls are available in a 2 oz. size.
How do I order?
Orders for Friday can be placed by going to the order page, or by calling/texting Varda at 717.919.1358. Please submit orders online until Thursday 8 p.m. After 8 p.m. Thursday through Friday, please call/text for availability.
When do I pick up?
Challahs are baked every Friday morning. Fresh loaves are available all day on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 45 minutes before sunset. Please let me know when you order if you will need to pick up prior to 1:00 p.m.
Where do I pick up?
Challah can be picked up from the Gewirtz home in our uptown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania location.
Do the challah or babka contain trans-fats?
No.

The challah is baked in a strictly Orthodox/Shomer Shabbos home.
How should challah be stored?
Since Challah With a Twist contains no preservatives, it should be stored in the freezer for optimal taste. When warmed up, it will taste like it was just baked.
What are good uses for leftover Challah?
If there are any leftovers, they make the best French toast.
